COVID 19 IMPACTED

- According to a UNICEF report (2019), about half the total number of children with different learning and developmental needs do not attend school.
- Even when these children do go to school, they struggle later to enter the working world or begin tertiary education.
- According to a new UNICEF report, many parents of children with learning differences experienced a loss in earnings due to the pandemic, resulting in them being unable to afford essential early intervention and behavioral therapy (2020).
- Additionally, 14% of kids with differences surveyed claim their mental and physical health have regressed.
