Care2Run was founded in 2015 as a non-profit social enterprise under Wildpac Asia PLT. Our aim is to transform differently-abled young people and young people from under-served communities to become tomorrow’s leaders via adaptive sports programmes.
The term ‘sports’ is often viewed as synonymous with structured competitions. At Care2Run, we adopt a broader view, which includes the dimensions of self-development and recreation.
We use sports to enhance executive function in young people, and we help them build social skills as well as improve their overall physical, mental health and psychological well-being.
Among our current partners and collaborators are the National Autism Society of Malaysia (NASOM), schools under the Ministry of Education Malaysia, Kiwanis Down Syndrome Foundation, as well as the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Malaya and the University of Tsukuba (Japan).
